With 30 years’ experience, BlueGreen Architecture has a portfolio of a wide range of projects. In particular to Vernon we had the privilege to be the architects for the Outback Resort. Our firm has developed strong business relationships over the years with many consultants and clients in The Thompson/Okanagan, Cariboo, The Sunshine Coast, and The Lower Mainland and into other B.C. regions.
Xenia Semeniuk (BA, MLA, MBCSLA, CSLA, LEED AP) has been involved in the design of landscape architectural projects in the Okanagan and Vancouver since 2007.
After completing an undergraduate degree in environmental politics and policy, Xenia studied landscape architecture at UBC. Her professional interests lie particularly in the fields of green infrastructure and regenerative design, and she is the former co-chair of the Thompson-Okanagan branch of the Cascadia Green Building Council.
Xenia has overseen the landscape architectural scope of projects throughout the Interior of British Columbia, recently including the Okanagan College Vernon Trades Training Facility and Bus Loop, the UBCO Transit Exchange, Phantom Creek Estates Winery in Oliver, and the City of Kelowna’s Ellis Street Design Guidelines.
Prima is a boutique Project- and Construction-Management company providing project-specific services and enhancing project value. Prima has operated in the Okanagan for three years and has accumulated over ten clients, and delivered many more projects.
Prima’s role is that of Managing Consultant coordinating the third-party consultants (e.g.Civil and Environmental), as well as utility providers (BC Hydro and Fortis Gas) in the development and design phases. During the construction phase(s), Prima is providing consultant coordination, procurement services, and construction management.
